Performance of Chartbeat

Has anyone made some test in terms of performance before and after
using chartbeat? I want to know if performance is affected (slow load
of pages) by the amount of request that chartbeats generate in order
to get the statistics on time.

The script is stored on Amazon's CDN and loads quite fast and has
minimal effect on page load.

The pings that happen, are asynchronous and do not hold up any loading.

By putting the script on the bottom of the page, the page fully loads
and does not get held up. We are working on a dynamic loading script
so that the include will have 0 load time
