Hygienic Research Institute (HRIL),the maker of Vasmol and Streax hair colour brands,has bought two medicated dental care brands to foray into the oral care segment in the country,a senior company official said.The company has acquired Denturite Sealing and Denturite Cleaning Powder from Bharucha Brothers,a little-known medicated dental care company."We have just completed the acquisition,which runs into a few crores," said Manish Chhabra,CEO of HRIL,adding the firm will market these two brands through doctors."
