Hi ,

i am working on developing a webplatform for charpiece and its going good.

firstly i would like to point out few dis advantages in my system.

Dis-advantages :

1) No timer per question - timer for whole quiz.

2) No live streaming - to make it lagfree

3) Risk of security (We are on top security but still every software is vulnerable with some or other exploit. It depends on the person hacking. cant say its 100& unhackable.)

4) No special anti cheat system

5) Not a Fancy design - simple and fast for better stability.

that are the major draw backs of web system.now let me give you some features i am going to add in our websystem.

Feature's:

1) Grouping - for easy team management

2) Admin Ranking - sub ranks in admins like moderator,editor etc.

3) Question bank - keep all the question in one place.

4) Subjects - To keep it all simple and categorized

5) Quiz schedule - scheduled quizes>only available at certain time.

6) Player tracking - track every player scores and rank.

7) Custom grading - make our own grading system as per our desire.

8) Custom report & Email template - decide how the results are shown after every game.

9) Quiz manager - assign certain quiz to certain user.

10) Awesome admin panel - you can do everything stated above with just a click.

11) Total Multimedia support - add images,videos,flash files to any question.

12) Handy editing system  - add question,edit question,create quiz,edit quiz every thing with our admin panel no web lang require.

13) No dependency - you need no special browser or software to run this. can be run from any browser. 

and many more small features that will be experienced soon

Ok so now let me a short description what am i actually doing.

our web system will be based on a online php quiz system which is opensource.i will be modifying and adding that source with a gui as that the only code and make it a total power packed quiz system.

i will be using php as my platform.

My progress : 60%

yes i am happy to say that all the 13 features mentioned above are ready to use. :)

now working on a gui ( graphical user interface).

it will be almost ready by tomorrow.

Our requirements :

Firstly we need a domain

www.charpiece.com - 610 rs (we get www.charpiece.info free)

www.charpiece.in - 100 rs

www.charpiece.org 400 rs

www.charpiece.net 450 rs

 

other : .me, .us , .biz etc also available.

 

Secondly we need hosting 

We need a good quality host with unlimited sql  database and unlimited space.

so that we dont get exhausted on our sources.

all unlimited hosting for a month - 200 rs

for a year - 2000 rs.

difference between unlimited and limited is just of 50- 75 rs.

We need a logo and tagline to make our website and our facebook page.

that are our requirements for the online web system to complete.
