As was already stated... Apparently no, you can't "add/install" extra suites. But... you can change which ones are active and in which order they are preferred. So, what was already stated above were links on how to change just the order of what's already active... that's cool... but, that's only a portion of the answer for which I believe you seek. The other half of the question is "what is available to choose from?" and to that I would like to share this link...

On that page you should find a list of links for the more "recent Windows operating systems" (if you want to call Windows XP "recent") and each subsequent link will show you 1) what cipher suites are enabled by default, 2) what cipher suites are available, but are disabled by default, and 3) what Pre-Shared Key suites are available upon request. Between those three lists you can pick and choose which cipher suites you want to load and in what order.

Now... the sticky part... the part I haven't been able to figure out... Apparently the full list of cipher suites available to an OS can be updated via various Windows Updates that Microsoft sees fit to pass down to us. It's unclear to me where to find out what the complete list of available suites are after having been fully patched/updated. I could be wrong on this, but places I've poked at seem to hint at such a thing. Anyway... I wish there was some command line/PowerShell way to see the full list of available suites to pick from. As best I've been able to find is "Get-TlsCipherSuite"... which appears to only show you what is currently in the list of enabled suites... not the full list of available suites to choose from. If someone knows the magic words to type to obtain the FULL list... That's what I'm interested in. ;)

I am using a MEMCM Task Sequence to build servers running Windows Server 2019. So far, I build 22 servers with this OS. At the end of OSD, on 20 of them I have only 10 cipher suites available for use.

On the servers with the limited set of ciphers suites, I have added the required registry keys to enable TLS 1.2 in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SecurityProviders\SCHANNEL\Protocols\TLS 1.2 and performed a reboot but there's still nothing more. And on the servers with the 31 cipher suites, I don't know what has been changed so they are available.I have also tried to use Enable-TlsCipherSuite -Name XXX with no success. Finally, the servers are updated with the august 2020 updates.

Calligra Suite is an office and graphic art suite by KDE. It is available for desktop PCs, tablet computers, and smartphones. It contains applications for word processing, spreadsheets, presentation, vector graphics, and editing databases.

Plan is a project management application. It is intended for managing moderately large projects with multiple resources. To enable you to model your project adequately, Plan offers different types of task dependencies and timing constraints. The usual use case is to define your tasks, estimate the effort needed to perform each task, allocate resources and then let Plan schedule the tasks according to network and resource availability.

Media Suite 10 came as OEM; upgraded to Windows 10. Issues required Media Suite and all it components to get uninstalled and now need to reinstall. Downloads listed in this forum only seem to be some of original suite; not entire suite and programs. Particularly interested in PowerDirector, PowerDVD, and PowerMediaPlayer.

This package provides the Cyberlink PhotoDirector Software for supported models running a supported operating system. Cyberlink PhotoDirector provides complete tools to edit and store photographic images.

Media Suite 10 seemed to work with Windows 10, had other issues that got in a bad place and made me think I needed to reinstall it. I didn't use most of Suite, so now thinking as you suggest, just the individual ones I use will work ok. I have PowerDirector, so with you provideing PowerDVD, think I'll be ok. Thanks.

Every version of Windows has a different cipher suite order. Depending on what Windows Updates the server has applied, the order can be different even with the same version of Windows. These were gathered from fully updated operating systems.

In a recent post, I benchmarked a Windows system to one running Windows Subsystem for Linux GUI (WSLg). WSLg allows you to run graphic Linux as applications on a Windows system. If you are not familiar with and want to know more about WSL, you can read my article series on it, starting here.

I did get a few questions in that article about how I installed the Phoronix Test Suite on Windows. It was quite painless; however, being that it isn't that well documented, in this article I will show you step-by-step how I did it.

The .bat file will simply close once it has finished installing the product. It will create a directory called C:\phoronix-test-suite. I opened a command prompt and navigated to this directory by entering phoronix-test-suite. This downloaded additional files, including Cygwin, from the internet and installed them on my Windows system.

Conclusion
Installing the Phoronix Test Suite on Windows is easy and offers many different tests pertaining to the CPU, GPU, RAM, disk speed and networking on your system. Having a framework to run various tests greatly simplifies the process; you will not need to go through and install and configure each test individually as Phoronix does it this for you.

I have a bunch of CRT's to optimize.
Mainly an IBM 21" Trinitron but also some older stuff like IBM 8513/8518, PS/1 SVGA, Aptiva 2124, IBM 5153, commodore 1084 and some other more obscure CRT's.
Can anyone recommend a suite that will run under DOS or windows?
I heard about the 240p test suite but it seems to be for consoles only? Is there something similar or better?

I just found the service manual online for my IBM PS/2 8513 VGA CRT.
It refers to FRU 07F6788. An alignment diskette that was shipped with the manual.
The 8513 was released in 1987, so that alignment diskette is very likely to be for DOS.
Unfortunately I can't find any further info about that floppy.

Thanks, I'll try it out.
So far the eizo is the best but it does not run well enough in 640x480, 256c.
The Nokia suite does and has good and useful images. I have only tried it in win Me and XP.

With a series of easy-to-use utilities on Lazesoft Recovery Suite Home Edition Recovery CD, you can recover your data even if file deleted, partition formatted, you can repair your Windows even if Windows crashed, you can reset your windows login password even if you forgot it.

The information in this article is provided as-is and to be used at own discretion. Depending on tool(s) used, customization(s), and/or other factors ongoing support on the solution below may not be provided by Qlik Support.

The above help includes the following statement.
"For instructions for updating the TLS Cipher Suite in your system or to disable weak ciphers in the Qlik DataTransfer environment, see the following community article:"
The link is to this article.

We've updated the article to add clarity. The Cipher suites listed in this article are sufficient and already do not include known weak ones. It should be all you need to get started. If, however, you need more details on reviewing the Cipher suites, I added a link to the article that Benoit mentioned.

Though we of course also recommend Windows documentation itself, as this will provide you with more in-depth explanations. What you need to remember are the Ciphers the Data Gateway needs when you start planning what to disable; otherwise, you'll be good to go.

1. If Qlik DataTransfer May 2021 or later is used on Windows Server 2012 R2, it is necessary to do the steps in this article.
2. "The Cipher suites listed in this article are sufficient and already do not include known weak ones."
Therefore, disabling is not necessary.
