DrJames Ramos is a periodontist at Concerned Dental Care. He began his journey to dental care when he earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Dental Medicine in 2014. He completed his general dentistry residency at Montefiore Hospital in New York. Dr. Ramos then spent the next three years specializing in periodontics and dental implantology. Dr. Ramos is also proud to be a certified LANAP (laser-assisted new attachment procedure) specialist so he can use the latest technologies and techniques to treat periodontal disease.

Dr. Ramos is board certified in both periodontology and dental implant surgery. He is proud to have scored among the top 1 percent of dental doctors on the national in-service exams, which were administered by the American Academy of Periodontology.

The American Board of Periodontology is the certifying board for the specialty of Periodontics. The Board is recognized by the National Commission on Recognition of Dental Specialties and Certifying Boards and provides certification in periodontics and dental implant surgery.
