No CYCC 4-25 or 5-2

I am sorry to report that the CMS budget which pays the custodian for
the time we have CYCC has been depleted for this year. Thus, we
cannot meet this week or next week. I'll be contacting those of you
who have prepaid for the semester to discuss refund and credit options
for next year individually over the next few days.

I am very sorry about this, but there is no way around it without
dramatcally increasing our rates. As many f you know we were going
to lose 5-2 anyway due to the golf tournament parking at SMHS.

I think we have had a good year of chess and wish all of you playing
in Nationals in a few weeks the best of luck.

I will continue to post chess news on this group and will let you know
when CYCC will start up next fall. I'll work with CMS to plan our
schedule better so we hopefully avoid this problem in the future.

If anyone wants to start private lessons for the summer, I will work
with you to set that up with one of our instructors.
