Dear Charlotte BYC members and friends,

I hope you are well… and I am sure you are looking forward to the weekend ahead.

I just wanted to send an email about our wonderful program on Wednesday night. (We shifted our usual Monday session to Wednesday for this week due to the Memorial holiday)

As usual our session turned out to be a fun evening where everyone learnt something and felt spiritually nourished. :-)

Our program structure for yesterday was dividing the members into two group. And then each group had to present something for 10 or so minutes on these 2 topic's: (a) Definition of Human Civilization and (b) The Perfect Relationship.

Without doubt both the groups gave good effort and their presentations were wonderful. Group 1 presented human civilization and concluded how "humans" can achieve the appropriate satisfaction of being civilised quoting BG 4.34 and other references from the prescribed literature's for this age. They outlined that this world is meant for suffering, but as devotees we can make it a better place individually as well as collectively by improving our own lives first.

Group 2 presented their group effort detailing the need for relationships, what should be the desired results out of any relationship and how to develop the quest of finding out the real relationship. It was interesting to note that the relationship happens not with the contact of our bodies but with the contact of our souls from within.

However, we do welcome any comments or questions by our forum members if you so wish to share your thoughts with regards of these two topics.

I want to thank all the devotees for their wonderful effort specially to Venkatesh Prabhu for taking up responsibility for organizing some of our club's event.

All glories to Srila Prabhupada and all glories to your valuable services.

Your humble servant,
With love,
Dvaipayana dasa
