Dear Charlotte BYC Members and friends,
Please accept my humble obeisances. Jaya Srila Prabhupada!
I hope you are all doing well and are in the bliss of having escalating moments of Krsna's thoughts.
Yesterday was another special night for us. First of all, one of our very enthusiastic members His Grace Pravin Govinda Prabhu who met his spiritual master over the weekend gladly brought over his notes to share and enlighten us what his Guru Maharaja;
His Holiness Bhakti Vikas Swami had spoken during His classes.
These are some of those inspiring points which can help us deepen our understanding to strengthen our spiritual conscious and become more focused on the goal of our life; serving Sri Krsna:
• We all are driving towards the cliff and eventually we have to go over that cliff, so it doesn't add any value to seek comfort by adjusting your seat: adjust your consciousness, not your seat.
• There is ever lasting misery in this material world. There is however a slight difference, for example: In India, there is uncomfortable misery where as in the USA there is comfortable misery, but misery is there.
• There are devotees who could live in the riches of life, but resort to an average living style so that they may not become attracted to worldly illusions and thus be able to become more and more engaged in devotional service: simple living, high thinking.
I would like to thank HG Pravin Govinda Prabhu for being so thoughtful and sharing these important points with us. Due to your intense submission to your spiritual master, we felt the presence of Maharaja amongst us.
Then we got on to our main action for the night. It was distinct from our usual activities. The exercise took us back to our school days when we would sit in groups and solve cross word puzzles. Off course there are many such cross word puzzles in our material life to be solved in order to get Krsna in the end. We solved one such puzzle yesterday.
The file is attached here. Please give it a try. It may not difficult but it's certainly a great tool for refreshing/ restoring our spiritual memory.
Thank you all once again, for your enthusiasm, encouragement and
serious participation.
Hope this meets you all in the bliss of Krsna consciousness.
With love,
Your servant and friend,
Dvaipayana dasa
