The Meeting on Thursday was a great show of support for Hillary
Clinton for President. There were at least 65 people by my count,
overflowing the room at Pike's Soda Shop. One exciting bit of news:
Hillary's Charlotte Campaign Office will open shortly (perhaps this
week/ to be announced) at the Cameron Harris Insurance Building across
from SouthPark Mall on Fairview Rd (next to McDonalds). This is a
great, visible, easy to find location for anyone in Charlotte.

An email was sent out to those that attended and signed the list.
There is a volunteer coordinator from the Campaign, Tiffany Kingery,
Phone: 704-968-5216. Ms. Kingery went over some of the basics of
volunteering for the campaign, including phone banks and other ways to
be involved. "Don't stop doing what you're doing!" was the basic of
the meeting, and also that they will be making it easier for us to be
involved when the new office is open and phone lines are up.

RECRUIT MORE VOLUNTEERS IN PERSON: Tiffany mentions a becoming a
HillStar. Basically encouraging you to signup your friends/neighbors
by sending their names and info (with their permission). I've made up

You can download a copy and print it out. Then email the names or fax
me the form to 1-336-458-9510 and I will forward a copy to Tiffany.

DONATE BEFORE MONDAY!: Each month the media reports on how much each
Campaign raises. If you can donate even as little as $10, or buy a hat
or something at Hillary's site, this counts as a donation!

Hello Everyone,

First of all, thank you so much for coming out last night. It was a
great group, and I am so pleased to see everyone eager to work.

Since meeting with you all, I have been in touch with Adam Robinson.
Adam is the Regional Field Director for Charlotte. He will be
arriving early next week and is already getting started on his work
for NC. I will also be working in the NC office as a volunteer
coordinator.

We have a lot of work to do over the next week. Two priorities for
the campaign are housing for staff and supporters and building our
support base. These are both areas in which volunteers will be
crucial.


(1) The campaign is in need of places for people to stay. Between now
and the primary, there will be staff workers and wonderful supporters
coming through North Carolina. As of right now, we do not have enough
space to house these individuals. If you have an extra bed and
wouldn't mind helping out, please call or e-mail me immediately. We
have people arriving as early as next week, and we really need your
help.

(2) The campaign is also focused on building our support base. In
order to do this, we are encouraging all of our volunteers to become
Hillstars. You can become a Hillstar by building a list of at least
10 friends/family/neighbors/etc. who are Hillary supporters, and get
at least 5 of them to commit to volunteering. You can build this list
by emailing your friends, calling your church phone book, clipboarding
at a busy pedestrian area, etc. This is absolutely crucial for the
campaign at this time, and we are counting on you to find other
outstanding supporters and volunteers. Please do not feel limited to
only 10 supporters; find as many as you can. I am attaching the
Hillstar Recruitment Form. Please fill it out and e-mail it back to
me by April 3rd.

Thanks so much for all that you are doing. We have a great deal of
work to get done in a short amount of time, and I know this group will
be instrumental in helping Hillary in Charlotte. If you have any
