Final Week: Hillary in Charlotte, Charlotte4Hillary hit the Streets!

Hello Charlotte4Hillary!
Our group has been a driving force in the Charlotte Headquarters. They
still need our help. There are plenty of ways to get involved this
week, and we all need to make ourselves available as much as possible.
Five donors stepped forward this week with money to help place a
Charlotte4Hillary advertisement and print Charlotte4Hillary flyers
which the Campaign could not make happen in time for Get-Out-The-Vote
Canvassing at Local Bars on Friday Nite. We printed 1,000 flyers and
are looking to print 3,000 more this week. If you want to help with
donations of printing or you want to help distribute flyers at bars
and events this week, call Nathan: 704-606-7268. For about $48 we can
print 1,000 flyers.
Our advertisement went to press in the Lesbian/Gay Newspaper Q-Notes
which is distributed across North Carolina, including Raleigh, Durham,
Chapel Hill, Greensboro, Charlotte and all points in between. This
also led to an 800-Word Editorial being written by one of our members.
When the Campaign said, get involved and "just do it," we did it!
There are nearly 900,000 Lesbian and Gay Voters in North Carolina, and
polls from other states have indicated that they lean toward Hillary
by nearly 3-to-1.
Often the "Official" Hillary Campaign is slower to be able to get
approval for things that WE as a GRASSROOTS ORGANIZATION can make
happen quickly. Thanks to all who contributed.
There are still flyers to print. There are still copies to be made.
There are even more phone calls to make. There are still supplies to
purchase. There are still Corners that need Honk4Hillary, and some
that need another dose! If you want to make a difference, this is the
week. Don't wait for someone to call you, show up, make a call, get
involved. There is something to be done every day.
