As part of the GIS seminar at UNC-Charlotte, Lak Krishnan from the
Geospatial Information Services at Mecklenburg County will give a talk
this Friday at noon in McEniry 401 entitled:
"Mecklenburg defeats flood hazards with OpenLayers and ArcGIS Server"
Lak will share two applications “Fins Live” and “3D Floodzone
Interactive Mapping” for the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water
Services. In addition, Lak will briefly talk about how the GIS
department in Mecklenburg County is organized. At the end of the
presentation, Lak will demo both applications. These can be found
