I just wanted to mention that the 14^th Annual Robot Rally is being held this Saturday in Atlanta by the Atlanta Hobby Robot Club.  I have seen the robots some of these club members make and they are pretty awesome.  Checkout http://www.botlanta.org/robot-rally for more details.
