Generous donations from numerous neighbors made possible the planting of over 500 plants in the neutral ground in the 3000 and 3100 blocks of Esplanade.   

Can you believe the area still needs more?   Yeah, me neither.   However, about another 500 plants are needed to complete the project.

Last summer, soil was added to the areas along with earthworms to till the soil.  

Mulch was added to keep the area free of weeds and stepping stones were added to make crossing the median easier. 

Over 500 new plants were planted over the last few days.   These plants were specified by Parks and Parkways.
