Dear All,
It is with a mixture of excitement and sadness that I announce that I will be leaving Yangon tomorrow. I have been really blessed throught the mission projects and activities of Charity Initiative Network.
As the years have gone by and the activities have grown, I have seen the better changes of Charity as well. Many of you I have worked with personally in the mission fields that I have been involved in; some of you, I have only had a chance to meet briefly at our meetings. Some of you are now outside of Myanmar, working or studying; but most of us still in Myanmar, in the field putting into practice what we have learned through our organization.
As I am preparing to depart Yangon, many new folks are preparing on entering our activities. Some are coming to “help” and some are going to end up “hindering”. All we need is just to continue working for the advancement and development of the Kingdom of God and to balance out some of the negative effects that come with a nation opening up to the world at large. We have a long journey ahead, and much of it will not be easy. We are all positioned to be leaders and supporters in this journey, helping to show the needy people the way.
Please stay connected with me! I am very proud of you and grateful to have had an opportunity to work with you.
Sincerely,
Piang
