U.S. Embassy Grants Announcement for February 15, 2013 Round



This announcement is to inform interested organizations about funding
opportunities of grants up to $100,000 from "Embassy Small Grants
Program for Global Women's Fund" and Embassy regular "Small Grant
Program" with average grant size between $10,000 and $ 20,000.



The U.S. Embassy seeks proposals from qualified organizations for
sustainable projects that identify and respond to the needs of their
communities, including enhancing opportunities for:



1) advancing free and fair elections,

2) increasing capacity for advocacy,

3) building democratic capacity,

4) augmenting networks and

5) empowering women and girls



This initiative will channel through two funding programs:

(1) the US Embassy Small Grants program and (2) the US Embassy Small
Grants Program for Global Women's Fund.
