Fine Arts Preview Night Thursday, Nov 10 - Pep Band 6:15 PM Call 7PM Start

Dear Band Family:

Thursday, November 10th will be our first Fine Arts Preview Night featuring our Pep Band, the top Choir, and the top Orchestra. 

This new event will be held in the Carodine Gym at 7PM. The goal of this event is to help incoming 8th grade families learn about the Fine Arts classes at Centennial. 

Our pep band will play two songs as a representation of what we have to offer in band. The Orchestra and Choir will also perform a song or two each. We will then speak briefly to families about high school classes over the microphone. After that, we will speak with families individually and students will be dismissed. Any students who want to stay to help answer questions will be welcome to do so. 

Students who are only attending to play with the pep band will need to wear their marching band shirts or a centennial band shirt and normal school clothes/shoes. Call time is 6:15 PM. They will be dismissed likely around 7:40. 

I try to give at least two weeks notice for students to ask off work when new events are added to the calendar. If your student has a conflict with this event, please let me know and they will be excused. If we decide to offer this Fine Arts Preview Night again next year, we will add it to the calendar at the start of the year.
