Band Reminders: Tonight, Monday, Jefferson Wednesday, Jazz Starting After School

Dear Band Family:

Here are some reminders followed by new information for next Wednesday. 

- 5:00 PM Call Time for tonight. We will rehearse as a full band after sectionals. Students should arrive in dinkles, band shirts, and long black socks. We will stay for the entire game. Bring layers to wear in the stands after uniforms are hung up. The game usually ends by or around 9:30PM.

- Monday's Concert Call Time is 5:45. The concert begins at 7PM in the large, main gym. Students should wear dark, nice clothes. The concert will be over around 7:50PM. 

- Wednesday: students should arrive 15 minutes earlier than usual or 7:45AM to get their things. We will line up and warm up at Centennial by the band trailers. We will then walk to Jefferson by the outdoor basketball court to perform at 8:00AM. Percussionists and Low People will want to arrive by 7:40 to get their equipment ready first. The Drumline will start playing at Jefferson first while other students are still lining up. Our performance location is about 300 yards southeast of our trailers. 

- Jazz Bands will be starting this coming week. All students involved in sports and other activities will still be able to do jazz. We split the time between activities every year. 

- 2nd Hour Symphonic Band students who are also in jazz band will rehearse on Wednesdays and Thursdays after school from 3:30-4:30. 

- 3rd Hour Concert Band students who are also in jazz band will rehearse on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school from 3:30 to 4:30.
