CU Band-a-Palooza! VOLUNTEER & FUNDRAISING opportunities

Hi all!

This Tuesday we will be hosting our first ever (or first ever in a loooong time) Band-a-Palooza in partnership with Central High School and Urbana High School!

This will be one of our major fundraisers for the year!  All proceeds will be split between the three programs.  Band Directors have set a goal of $15,000!!!

In addition to collecting donations at the event on Tuesday, we also request that you share our "Team GoFundMe" link with friends, family, CHS alumni and social media contacts that are not able to attend in person.  Every little bit counts!  With over 100 band families, we can reach up to 500 potential donors if each family can connect with 5 contributors!  

100 band families (each with 5 contributors) x $10 donation = $5000

If you work for a business that might match donations, please let me know!

TBD - Trivia Night Coordinator! If you have experience with running a Trivia Night, please let me know!  If you don't have experience with running a Trivia Night, but would like to learn, please let me know!

As a side note, we will once again be making a request for bottled water for our CHS students.  If anyone would like to take on a green initiative and work towards getting each of our students a reusable water bottle, it would be greatly appreciated.
