Band at Tomorrow's Events

Dear Band Family:

Tomorrow the band students will be dismissed 15 minutes before the end of 7th hour to get their instruments and report to the gym for the Homecoming Assembly to be held during 8th hour. Drumline, Sousas, and Bari Saxes and other "Low People" will report to the sousa room to lead the students through the building to the assembly. Mr. Ford and all remaining winds will be playing bleacher tunes in the gym until the drumline and Low People arrive.

All Students should wear their new Marching Band Show Shirts tomorrow to school. 

School will end on the normal schedule. 

Tomorrow night call time is 5:15 in dinkles, long black socks, show shirts, and shorts. We will wear our full uniforms for tomorrow night's homecoming game. We will dismiss after halftime tomorrow. That will likely be around 8:30 unless we have another extremely slow paced game like our last home game. If the game moves quickly, we will be done and ready to go home as early as 8:15. If the game is slow, we could be done with uniforms hung back up by 8:45. 

Thank you to all of you who have donated water, snacks, and rides for students who can not get to some of these events on their own. Please do send water and snacks with your students. If you are willing, please consider sending clear water that has some nutrients like Propel or others like it. We have several students at each event who have forgotten to eat and who don't seem to want to eat the snacks. Perhaps we can entice them with clear flavored water? Please no food coloring like gatorade. Only clear fluids due to the uniforms being electric blue and white.
