band reminders and updates for December

Hello Centennial Band Families,

      Thanks to everyone who came to the parent meeting last Thursday. We were able to present a lot of vital information. If you were not at the meeting, materials will be sent home with your student. If you  not receive these materials by the end of the week, please contact Lisa at aekoc...@comcast.net and they will be emailed to you. Also the third Disney payment is due this week. Finals week is almost upon us and the Band Boosters need your help.  We sell snacks to the students between classes during exams and pizza at lunchtime.  Booster representatives will be at the concert with specific donation requests.  We will be asking each family to donate one of the following:

 

   one box of PopTarts - strawberry or brown sugar-cinnamon

  one six- or twelve-pack of pop - Pepsi, Coke, Dr. Pepper, Sprite, 7-Up or diet of any of these flavors

 

Please send your donations in to the Band Office by Tuesday, December 15. All proceeds from these sales directly benefit the entire Band.

 

We also need volunteers to help with the snack sales on Dec. 17 & Dec. 18.  We begin setting up at 7:30 am and work until the beginning of the last class/exam period.  Please consider assisting us during part or all of these days.Contact Karol Stookey at matts...@sbcglobal.net if you can help.

      
     
Yankee Candle orders and Poinsettias will be available for pick-up after the concert on Thursday. Did you forget to order your poinsettia? Don't worry, you can purchase one the night of the concert. Extras are limited in number. Request yours early!
