Dear Band Family,

We just recently found out that the football game on Saturday August 26th has been moved to 2 pm. Our morning rehearsal will stay as scheduled, 9 am - 12 pm. The band will stay at the school for lunch. Please send snacks and pre-packaged items to share for lunch. Our Boosters will purchase Jimmy John's for lunch. If you would like to chip in monetarily for the purchase of this lunch, donations can be made directly to the Centennial Band Boosters. Any amount is welcome. No amount is required. :-)

We will need water donations for the start of rehearsal before 9AM. Students will need to wear their new Marching Band Shirts for the game with dark shorts and dark athletic shoes on bottom. 

We will dismiss after the halftime performance. The Game is scheduled to kickoff at 2:00 PM. We expect students will be dismissed around 3:30. 

This game was originally scheduled to begin at 7PM on the 26th. The time was moved up to 2:00PM.

Schedule for Saturday, Aug 26th:

8:30 Students begin arriving for rehearsal by the band trailers behind Centennial

9:00 Rehearsal begins (we will need water donations)

12:00 Rehearsal ends

12:00 Lunch provided in the Cafeteria. We will need shareable donations for the students. Food, treats, snacks, water, and anything the let's them know how much they are appreciated. :-)

1:00 Get ready for pregame. We will play the School Song and the National Anthem before the game.

2:00 Game Starts. We will play cheers in the stands and line up halfway through 2nd quarter. 

Halftime: Perform the Field Show. Please plan to make as much noise cheering for your students as possible. 

Dismiss after halftime
