Dear Band Family,
The heat is going to be unbearably high tomorrow. We will have our lunch indoors tomorrow. Today we only had a few minutes outside. Tomorrow will be even less time outside. Please see the plan that was handed out to students this morning:
Friday Fun Day Plan:
Bring indoor Board, Card, and Video Games for Band Room, No projectile Games/Activities/Warfare. No Water games indoors. We will clean up our own spaces like it never even haaappened.
Flutes and Clarinets: Sealed lunch treats/snacks/yummy things for all
Saxes and Trumpets: Chip and sides for all
Mellophones and Low Brass: Drinks for all that we will clean up if we spill. No one deserves to clean up after us. :-)
Sousas and Drumline: Desserts for all
Pit Percussion and Color Guard: plates and napkins
Food items that do not need to be refrigerated can be brought first thing in the morning; items that need to be refrigerated can be brought to the school between 11 and 11:30.
Parents that are available to help in setup and handing out food can arrive between 11 and 11:30 (and would be much appreciated!) You can park in the north (student) parking lot and enter the student entrance.
We will wrap up the fun times at 1:30 and students will be dismissed for the weekend so they can rest and recharge for next week!
