Hello, all -

I am delighted to see that the Civic conversion and testing is going
well. It has been very quiet here on the Forum, so I'll toss in some
pesky questions, hoping they will stir up some activity.

1) Any progress on the legislative front? (Providing tax credits for
EV conversions.) I can understand that it might not be prudent to
count this chicken until it is completely hatched, but I am curious
nevertheless.

2) At one of the summer open houses, I heard that the ThunderSky
batteries were experiencing some expansion and cracking in service.
Has this been conquered?

3) Please tell me, is there an updated materials cost estimate for
conversion parts? In the summer I heard that this was perhaps $15K. Is
this still a valid target, including batteries, supercaps, and fuzzy
dice for the rear-view mirror?

The recent election results leave me feeling MORE determined to get
behind the wheel of a ChargeCar-based conversion EV. Too much
political talk, time for some wheels-on-the-ground action.
