Yes, kids, it's gone quiet in here once again. Maybe this report will
get some sap rising.... We can be part of the "Bold Action" called
for in this report!

Marty,

Thanks for the link. Interesting article. One barrier not mentioned to
putting 1M EVs on the road is the resistance of oil/energy companies to
conversion to more efficient electric power.

... which makes it all the more imperative to get conversion EVs on
the road in some quantity. (Hello, ChargeCar!)

From the report: "Vice President Joe Biden announced on Jan. 26 that
the administration is seeking to create a competitive grant program
worth up to $10 million apiece for up to 30 communities for the
development of charging stations and electric-car requirements."

How 'bout we go get a chunk of that? I would like to think that <
Pittsburgh / CMU / ChargeCar > would be able to put together a
compelling entry in such a competition. Let's hope Biden can get it
passed. Which reminds me that some of the ChargeCar leadership was
hoping to get extension of the $7500 tax credit to include
_conversion_ EVs. I wonder what has come of that effort?
