Father Fritz Lafontant to visit St. Francis March 13th

Visit to personally thank St. Francis  for its gifts to Haiti

Father Fritz Lafontant and Marie Flore Chipps, his daughter, of Haiti, and Gillane Warne, a parishioner from Christ Church Greenville, who manges the farm that provides food for the hospital, school, and malnutrition program in Cange, Haiti, will be visiting us on Sunday, First Sunday of Lent, March 13th.  Fr. Lafontant wants to come and thank us for our gifts to Haiti last year.  Fr. Lafontant has been our major contact person for work since the beginning of our relationship with Haiti under Bishop Bill Beckham.

Fr. Lafontant will give all us of us a brief thank you at the 10:30am service.  After the service we will welcome all of them at a reception in the Parish Hall.  Outreach Ministries would appreciate any help with goodies for the reception.  There will be a brief introduction to ministry now in Haiti, and then Fr. Lafontant, Ms. Flore and Mrs. Warne will be available to answer questions from parishioners.

For more information or to help with the reception, contact Diana Powers at diana-...@hotmail.com.
