Food at Logie Durno Hall

A couple of years ago, we started an initiative to save food going to waste. 

We are a team of volunteers who collect from Tesco in the evening, we get the use by and best before items (yellow stickers) they can no longer sell but food that is perfectly useable.

We collect the food on Mondays, Tuesday and Wednesdays evenings, and we open the Logie durno village hall the following morning.  It is a free service and everybody is welcome. 

We usually open 8.30am-9.15/30, it is first come first served basis. We never know what we get, but there is always plenty bread, (normal and gluten free) vegetables, fruits, herbs, sometimes meat and fish, vegan options.
