Need help

Hi,

 I am using Chap links library. Here i want to restrict  the movement of the the drag gable items ( First and Last) shown on the time line. It should not go outside the visible area when the user is dragging. Please help , how i can achieve this.

Yes you can do so using the events like add, change, changed, delete.

Thanks. Changed event is used. But what i want is that first and last should not go outside the visible area. Is there a way to restrict this. Please find attached image  for reference.

Yes I understand what you want to do. During these events (you will need the change event in this particular case) you should be able to change the start date of the item to the restricted area.

It's a long time ago, the chap-links-library has been deprecated and replaced by it's successor vis.js about 2 years ago (!). It could be that there are limitations in manipulating items while dragging. This has been improved a lot in vis.js. I strongly advice to migrate to vis.js (it's different, it will take some effort to migrate).
