Swedish defence major Saab, which is set to participate in Aero India 2017, will be competing to supply the Gripen M (Maritime) version of the Sea Gripen aircraft for the Indian Navy and has expressed interest in procurement by the Navy, which sent out a Request for Information (RFI) last month.
As an update as of August 10th, there has been significant growth over the past three months and deployment has crossed a major milestone: over half of requests to dual-stacked sites on Akamai from the top-4 US mobile networks now use IPv6! IPv6 is used around 70% of the time for Android and over 30% of the time for iPhones, up 10% each from May. We have also seen T-Mobile start to deploy IPv6 to iOS devices as well in a dual-stacked configuration.
Today over on the World IPv6 Launch blog, Mat Ford wrote that he is seeing this same milestone in the World IPv6 Launch measurements. The four major US mobile networks of Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile USA, Sprint Wireless and AT&T are seeing a combined measurement of close to 55% IPv6. His chart:
The mean percentage of patients receiving an injectable drug was 49.25%. In some developing countries such as Jordan, the percentage of prescriptions involving injections is very low. The injection use is 11% in Zimbabwe, 36% in Sudan and 45% in Indonesia.8 In Pakistan, 68% of patients have received at least one injection during 3 months study.9 The request of patients for receiving injections and widespread misuse of injectable medications is a major health problem in many developing countries. Prescription of an injection allows the charging of a higher fee for service. Moreover, high proportions of injections are given by inexpert individuals with incomplete knowledge about safe practices and also in places without resuscitation requirements. Unsafe injection poses health risk to the recipient, health workers and community, and could represent a major source of morbidity and mortality.
The cars remain popular and fears of a SAAB bankruptcy have severely shaken Swedish industry at a time when the entire country is suffering a major economic downturn. Efforts to save SAAB have been going on for months.
I was born and raised in San Diego, CA where the bustling city felt like a small town community. Coming to Portland I felt the same comfort and excitement from the city and am always trying to explore my surroundings. Back home I have volunteered and worked for a nonprofit art organization in my neighborhood that removes recycled material from the wastestream to be reused in art projects for underserved schools and summer workshops for kids in the community. Because I run on the Cross Country team, and love to cook I find health and wellness an important aspect in my life. I hope to further my interests with my Psychology major and Health Studies minor by giving back to the community.

Brandon Chu, a fourth-year software engineering major from Queens, N.Y., said he learned from each of his three previous co-ops and views them as stepping stones to his ultimate job after graduation.
Methods: A comprehensive literature search was conducted with the electronic databases MEDLINE, EMBASE and CENTRAL. These were queried to identify studies comparing BIV with UFH in PVI. Study endpoints included total bleeding events, major and minor bleeding events and procedural success. Random-effects meta-analysis method was used to pool endpoint odds ratios (OR) for both UFH and BIV with 95% confidence intervals (CI).
Results: A total of 12,335 patients (70.6 years; 59.7% male) were included from seven observational cohort studies (two prospective and five retrospective) comparing outcomes between BIV and UFH during PVI between January 2000 and May 2017. Compared with BIV, UFH was associated with significantly higher total bleeding, (OR 1.52 with 95% CI 1.11 to 2.09, p = 0.009), major bleeding (OR 1.38 with 95% CI 1.13 to 1.68, p = 0.002), and minor bleeding (OR 1.51 with 95% CI 1.09 to 2.08, p = 0.01). Procedural success rates were not different between the two groups (BIV vs HEP: OR 0.90 with 95% CI 0.49 to 1.64, p = 0.72) CONCLUSION: Compared with BIV, UFH was associated with more bleeding when used during PVI. There was no significant difference in procedural success between the two anticoagulation strategies.
