Chapinwas an extremely loyal friend, good Samaritan, and a very devoted father. His acts of kindness touched many lives throughout the Omaha community during his short life. His impact on others will be felt for many years to come, and his legacy will go on in those he loved and treasured.

The truth is Chapin was very diverse and he truly wrote the story of his own life. This chapter may close for him, but he will live on in the memories he created with his kindness and love for us all.

When I first moved back to Omaha halfway thru 8th grade Chapin was so kind and welcoming to me. It was a rough half year but he always invited me to sit at his table at lunch or hang with him in the pits in the morning. I never got to tell him how much that meant to me.

Chapin was someone i looked up too when i was little. He was a great friend to my mother and stepfather who both will miss him very deeply. I have had nothing but joyious moments with chapin throughout my life and he will be remembered as the great guy he was. Growing up he would always have something funny to say, always be laughing and doing his best to make everybody smile. Which always worked! Chapin also gave me my love for tattoos as a child. I aways wanted ones like he had and i loved talking to him about them. You will be missed. Love you chapin!

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Please know we are holding you tight today and always. I pray your memories bring you comfort and that you always fill his love around you. With deepest sympathy.
