Hi!

Last week, as PCH was recovering from loss of access to the PCH Facebook Page -- which was doing a wonderful job of identifying changemakers and connecting them with the public -- I thought: We have a promise to keep. I decided to take one action that will be a step ahead. 

And so, in the early hours of May 23rd, the Pakistan Changemakers Hub website was launched. 

PCH has also set up other contact points: a blog, a donation page, and a Twitter blog. You will find links to all these on the website, which currently serves as the connecting point of the various PCH presences. 

We've also set up Google Connect; as access to Facebook Connect has been restricted for Pakistanis (you will see code error on the website in place of Facebook plug-ins). 

So now you have various ways of connecting with PCH, staying updated, and learing about what exactly is PCH doing and how. 

Where we go from here is up to YOU. 

Pakistan Changemakers Hub is about grassroots social change for all. It is thus that even in the way this organization is formed, and the way it keeps in touch with its constituency (i.e. the people we serve), the focus is on openness and inclusion. YOU make PCH happen. 

We don't simply want you to promote PCH, to vote for it, to put your money into it. Rather, we want you to be a part of Change, to understand it, to absorb it, to share in it. This is also why we are turning to you, the everyday citizen, as our primary source of funding and promotion. 

PCH is no more than a neural network that connects Changemakers and Change Agents. It is only as good as your participation in it. 

I therefore ask you to visit the blog, study the plan, and question t. Please re-tweet it, link to it, share with others who care. When you feel certain of PCH, please donate to make it happen. Currently, PCH has two people -- myself and Sawant of yello.pk who is helping PCH develop a platform to co-create a directory -- who are putting in our hearts and hours into making this happen for us all. 

With your donations and support, we can assure that we stay on this job, buy the software and supplies we need, and get things done. In the days ahead, PCH will be recruiting more volunteers, creating outreach programs, and also launch action projects for YOU (we call those Change-For-All projects).
