Hi everyone!

Meet Laura, someone living in Toronto who wants to help. How awesome is that?!?

Laura, my first thought is to help with the online marketing since that is an area of strength for you and something that can easily be done remotely. 

Right now we are working on the overall marketing plan. Do you have some tips/suggestions for the social marketing portion of that?

We've also started compiling a list of contacts we want to reach out to. How is your local contact base? Actually, I don't know your connection to the Sault!

Team, anything else you can think of?

At our next meeting we'll be introducing all the team tools, have the ongoing plan online which will make it easier for you to be involved.

I suggest we "meet" you via Skype next Tuesday. We meet every Tuesday from 8:30 pm to 10:30 pm.

A little about myself: I'm living in Toronto and currently working as the Senior Marketing and Media Specialist for UrbanTrans.  UrbanTrans is a sustainable transportation consulting company and I do manage the Social Marketing campaigns for our clients.  Previously, I worked for MacLaren McCann on the account side of advertising.  I studied business at McGill.  

I'm interested in social innovation, social enterprise, citizen involvement etc.

I was just reading your agenda for tomorrow's meeting.  I'm not sure what it is I can do from afar, but I'm happy to help in any capacity.  I could definitely help you get the word out as the event approaches.  

I'll stay tuned to your emails to see if there are other ways I can help.  Alternatively, please let me know if you can think of anything.

Hi everyone!

Great to "meet you".

I'd love to help with the online marketing.  It would be great to see the overall marketing plan first and see how we can integrate that with the online/social media side of things.  I'd also love to see the list of local contacts that you have because I could start contacting people for some free online ad space.  

My connection to the Sault is that I was born and raised there, went to Sir James Dunn and then left to go to McGill.  Since I left the Sault at 18, my local contact base is somewhat limited but I do know some great people that I'm sure could be helpful. 

What is your name on Skype so that I can find you?
