how do I specify signer's language in API call

We are using the change.org API to submit signatures from a form on our website. One version of our website is in french (fr-CA). Can I pass in this language code via the API, so the auto-reply email that the person gets from change.org is in the right language? This isn't mentioned in the documentation, so I don't know if it's possible. If not, can it be added?
