Fetching total signature count

Hello,

I'm trying to fetch the total signature count using the API.

I've been using the following petition to test with:

This has petition id 1499955

For the last few days this has been returning the correct total signature count (~1,000,000) but today it started returning only about 410,000.

The request has not changed in this time, the request I'm using is:
https://api.change.org/v1/petitions/1499955/signatures/
with my api_key as a post parameter

Any idea why this has stopped working? And where does the 410,000 number come from?
