We are looking for an experienced Snowflake Enterprise Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-level data solutions using the Snowflake Data Cloud platform. The ideal candidate will define scalable data strategies, drive cloud data warehouse optimization, and ensure alignment with business and technology goals.
Design and architect enterprise-scale data solutions using Snowflake.
Lead migrations from legacy data warehouses to Snowflake.
Define and enforce best practices for data modeling, integration, security, and performance.
Translate business needs into scalable data architecture solutions.
Implement robust data governance and quality frameworks.
Recommend and integrate tools for ETL/ELT and orchestration (e.g., dbt, Fivetran, Airflow).
Mentor and guide data engineers on Snowflake development practices.
Optimize resource usage and manage cost efficiency in Snowflake environments.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate CI/CD in data pipelines.
Stay current with Snowflake advancements and features.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
8+ years of experience in data architecture and engineering.
Minimum 3 years of hands-on Snowflake experience in enterprise environments.
Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and performance optimization in Snowflake.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Familiarity with ETL/ELT tools such as Talend, Informatica, Matillion, Fivetran, or dbt.
Strong understanding of data security, compliance, and governance.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Snowflake certification (e.g., SnowPro Advanced: Architect).
Experience with real-time data processing tools (e.g., Kafka).
Exposure to data cataloging and lineage tools (e.g., Collibra, Alation).
Knowledge of modern data architecture concepts (data mesh, data fabric).
