chan dongle and esxi enviroment

hi i have an esxi server and i have an asterisk runing on it it runs cool and i want to add some dongles 

i have make a test an looks like they can work with e1756 and e173 models directly using the usb detection passthrough but my country versions dont have voice...,and the new models like e3131s-65 or the e367s-8 are only detected as dvd scsi :(

have anyone try using the dongles in a esxi enviroment??

i forgot somethin

in some cases the modem must be in modem mode the easy way to set it is using at commands and set at^u2diag=0 but in some modems that command didnt work... 

some need to be access via hilink webpage 192.168.1.1\html\switchprojectmode.html and then use at^u2diag=0 

other modems need a AT^SETPORT="A1,A2;1,2,3" and others like e3131 and e367 need AT^SETPORT="FF;1,2" to be set as modem mode only, and after that the esxi can use them :)

just a lil update 

first the AT^SETPORT="FF;1,2" can make the usb be deteted but cant make calls for fix it i use the  AT^SETPORT="FF;1,2,3,7" the 3 if for diag, the 7 for ncm in others modems i saw ncm=16 after that the modem is detected and full working ..... i have it running 2 days...

I have ordered a Huawei K3765 USB modem and am running asterisk/freepbx on a VM in esxi 4.0.0

yes it is working fine :) 

i have been using elastix and free pbx on esxi 5.5 and they work greate 

the chandongle i have been using in esxi 5.5 with a centos 7 with freepbx 12 and asterisk 11 and run flawless the only thing is that if you want to use more usb ports than you have in the mainboard you will need to find an "special" usb hub because esxi dont work with some usb hubs :(
