CitrixWorkspace app is the easy-to-install client software that provides seamless, secure access to everything you need to get work done. With this free download, you easily and securely get instant access to all applications, desktops and data from any device, including smartphones, tablets, PCs and Macs.

Citrix Workspace app requires a backend infrastructure to be correctly configured before you start using it. We recommend that you contact your system administrator or IT help desk. They have the necessary setup information required to resolve your questions.

Citrix Workspace app will automatically replace many previous versions of Citrix Receiver and the Citrix online plug-ins; However, some versions must be removed manually before you can install Citrix Workspace app.

In many cases, you open an appropriate URL in your browser to authenticate to your Citrix digital workspace with all your applications, desktops and data. At times, you may need to configure your account by entering your email or a server address to authenticate with Workspace app to use applications and virtual desktops. You can ask your system administrator for the steps to follow in your situation.

Support resources for system administrators are available on the Citrix Product Documentation and Citrix Support sites. Customers with a current technical support agreement can also open a support case with Citrix Support.

Description: Some devices with quad channel microphone (like HP Elitebook) have audio redirection issues with Teams on 2105 and above. To fix these issues, a registry key needed to be added manually -[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Citrix\HDXMediaStream] "DisableADM2"=dword:1. The attached .reg file can be executed on impacted devices to automatically add the same registry key and hence fix the issue.

This ZIP file contains sample scripts to deploy and configure Citrix Workspace app. It is an optional download, provided on an as-is basis by Citrix to serve as an example. Before use, IT administrators must customize the scripts to suit their environment. The uninstall and install scripts may be used as noted in the upgrade guide for Citrix Workspace app for Windows (CTX135933). Version: 22.12.0.48(2212)

This ZIP file contains ADMX and ADML files to deploy and configure Citrix Workspace app using group policy object editor. It is an optional download, to be used by IT administrators, and not meant for use by end-users. The administrative templates (ADMX and ADML files) may be used as noted in the upgrade guide for Citrix Workspace app for Windows (CTX135933). Version: 24.5.0.131 (2405)

Note: If you are using a user account created by your company, please contact your company's IT help desk or system administrator to know the required setup information and your company specific version requirement.

Citrix Workspace app can be used on domain and non-domain joined PCs, tablets, and thin clients. Provides high performance use of virtualized Skype for Business, line of business and HDX 3D Pro engineering apps, multimedia, local app access.

Citrix Workspace app provides instant, secure, and seamless access to all the resources that your end users need to stay productive. Citrix Workspace app includes access to virtual desktops, virtual apps, web and SaaS apps, and features such as embedded browsing, and single sign-on (from anywhere and from any device).

Citrix Workspace app is a client application that can be deployed across devices on both cloud and on-premises environments. It builds on the capabilities of what was previously known as Citrix Receiver, and includes Citrix client technologies such as - HDX, the Citrix Gateway plug-ins, and Secure private access.

The client app is optimized to run on all client OS like Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android. It can also be accessed via a browser. For more details on the supported browsers, see Workspace Browser Compatibility.

Citrix Workspace app, powered by Citrix protocol and HDX (high-definition experience), delivers high-performance virtual app and desktop sessions. It is enhanced to deliver a secure login and internet browsing experience, easy management of your apps and desktops, advanced search capabilities, and more.

With respect to devices connected to the Internet, Citrix Workspace app might without additional notice, check for updates that are available for download and installation to the device and let the user know of their availability. Only non-personal identifiable information is transmitted when this happens, except to the extent that IP addresses may be considered personally identifiable in some jurisdictions.

Global App Configuration service provides a centralized interface to configure the Citrix Workspace app settings for end users. You can configure settings for both cloud and on-premises stores from a single interface. These settings are applicable to both managed and unmanaged devices (BYOD). For more information, see Global App Configuration service.

If an issue occurs with Citrix Workspace app in production, we can disable an affected feature dynamically in Citrix Workspace app even after the feature is shipped. To do so, we use feature flags and a third-party service called LaunchDarkly. You do not need to make any configurations to enable traffic to LaunchDarkly, except when you have a firewall or proxy blocking outbound traffic. In that case, you enable traffic to LaunchDarkly via specific URLs or IP addresses, depending on your policy requirements.

Beginning August 2018, Citrix Workspace app replaces Citrix Receiver. While you can still download older versions of Citrix Receiver, new features and enhancements are released for Citrix Workspace app.

Select the Identity and Access Management option from the menu. If this option does not appear, you may not have adequate permissions to create an API client. Contact your administrator to get the required permissions.

For calling APIs using an integration (implemented in PowerShell, Python, app, script, etc.), tokens can be obtained using a standard OAuth 2.0 Client Credential grant flow. For more information about OAuth 2.0 Client Credential grant, see -4.4.

Enter Client ID and Secret that were generated while creating an API client. Click Generate. A bearer token is generated using the Client ID and Secret and populated in the Authorization header field.

API clients in Citrix Cloud are always tied to one administrator and one customer. API clients are not visible to other administrators. If you want to access to more than one customer, you must create API clients within each customer.

We have implemented remote access to a Citrix XenApp desktop enviroment, currently using F5-1600s (LTM + APM) running firmware version 11.3.0 3022.0. The F5 is in full IcaProxy mode and replaces the web front end with a dynamic webtop etc etc. Followed all of the lastest user guides and it was very easy to setup.

My remaining issue is with Citrix Client Bundles, from the userguide : "Note: Creating a Citrix client bundle is optional, but you still need a Citrix Receiver client on client systems. If you do not create a Citrix client bundle, you must download the Citrix Receiver client from the Citrix web site and install it on client systems"

I took it that not touching any of the Citrix Client Bundle settings would mean it is disabled by default, however we still get the message box appearing when users log in and try to launch a remote desktop. The message box that appears is the one that gives the user an option to "Skip" or "Download". It dosn't happen for all users only certain combinations of browser/OS.

My issue is that we have several things that execute based on the IP address of the client. As you know in Citrix the IP address, Hostname and MAC address that the Client tags show is that of the server running the Ignition instance and not that of the client.

We have a Citrix PVS (provisioning services) environment. In this environment, the servers are restarted every night, and when they are restart a new image is applied. We have defined what is called a write cache drive which is supposed to be persistent and does not get affected by the nightly reimage. We put the Bigfix agent on the write cache drive which we call the W: drive. This was supposed to prevent the Bigfix agent from getting a new client ID every night, but it is not working. We are still getting a new ID every night. I notice that all of the client logs are in place so the entire client is not being removed and re-added. However, the KeyStorage folder is getting a new date every night.

We are already using the ClientIdentityMatch=100. As far as the rest of it, that seems like a lot of work to go through every night. I guess it could be scripted, but it seems like Citrix would have a better answers since they have the persistent drive. I think we are missing something on the Citrix side.

Our Citrix provisioning services (PVS) team created a persistent drive on each Citrix server, also know as a write cache drive. Then they added commands to save and restore the Bigfix registry hive. Below are the command used. This procedure seems to have worked the same client ID has remained the same for 7 days.

Sadly it appears your are correct that there is no solution. I thought we had it licked with the shutdown and startup script restoring the original Bigfix registry hive, and using a persistent partition. The odd think is that the ID seems to be retained for about 6 hours, and then I see this in the BES Client log: Scheduling client reset; Computer id changed to 551744474

The problem is that the Bigfix client ID is generated from PDAPI rather than having a static client ID like SCCM. PDAPI seems to be very sensitive to any changes in the Windows OS. Citrix PVS can preserve the machine identity when PDAPI changes. For example, we had a problem with LAPS which was changing PDAPI, but the Citrix PVS identity remained unchanged.
