[Kane Maximus]

Kane's backstory for all - 

Kane looks between 19 and 22, is 6ft tall, slender to average build, with dark eyes and hair. He was born this way or better yet to say he was designed this way. He was part of 11 other projects like him created by Dr. Helix as hybrid clones. He was left with two others as they were considered flawed and non-usable. Being set free by the Sentinels of Gotham he stayed within this city until his paperwork came through as a valid US citizen. During these months in Gotham he was taught by Iron Maiden and at the Erilum School for the Gifted (this school is called something else I just forgot it).
During his spare time, he would wait for fire trucks to leave the station and follow them to their destination. He would assist them with flying into burning buildings rescuing people. He also picked up on how to play a guitar having YouTube be his teacher while waiting on top of the fire station – emergencies don’t happen every day.
Kane eventually got more and more involved in what was going on in the world and online. By being online he made friends – fast. Random people started to follow Kane just by him talking about how his day. He started to feel important with this and started to record videos of his everyday activities. Then started to post him saving people from fires which in turn caused him to gain more popularity on social media. People would ask him random questions such as if he felt pain from the fire when rescuing people, what type of hobbies did he have, would he join a super group, what was his mom like, did he have any villains after him, and multiple other questions which he would answer.
As time went on, he started looking up fashion and latest trends. Shopping often to look his best. One day he noticed his hair was growing longer so he went to the haircut to have it trimmed but the hair stylist couldn’t cut his enhanced protected hair (Splicer already attempted this when he first came out of Dr. Helix’s lab and failed). Going back to his room he attempted to use his laser vision to reflect it off one hand, cut the hair, and end the laser on his other hand. As he cut his hair, he recorded it then posted it online. The style came out decent for someone cutting their own hair for the first time and people online loved it.
His life consisted of chasing fire trucks, training with Iron Maiden, or at the school. When posting online he would be involved in talking to his followers, playing a song on his guitar while singing, showing off some new designer clothing, explaining how best to cut hair by cutting his own or others.
After gaining his papers to be a citizen of the US Kane wanted to explore. Only knowing a few people outside of Gotham, he went to their city – Evergreen. Splicer and Iron Maiden lived there and he figured he would be able to get more answers on how to utilities his powers.
Going to his media sites he started to ask around for the best place to live and some type of job he might be qualified for. One person spoke up, a Vietnamese woman by the name of Bian. She had seen one of his posts on cutting hair and told Kane he could work at her high-end salon.
Flying over from Gotham to Evergreen, Kane started the next day. Drawing spectators to watch through the window of the salon he did his laser eyes on customers to style their hair. Each day he worked there he drew more and more customers to the store. By the end of the week Kane worked out a deal with Bian. He would work there Tuesday and Thursdays from 4pm until 6pm, put on a show for the customers while cutting hair and post the show from Bian’s salon on his social media. Bian quickly jumped at this giving Kane good pay for only working two days per week.
Using his money Kane moved in at a high rise with two other roommates (Buildings name is called: Park Avenue West). This apartment is located in downtown next to the indoor mall (mall is called: Heights of Evergreen). The salon (called: Laser precision cuts) is located a few blocks away from Kane’s apartment.
Kane has been living in Evergreen city for the past two months. Talking to the customers that come in, following police, listening to the local news, or just talking to his media followers that live in the area - searching to root out bad guys in Evergreen.

 Kane flips through his messages on his live feed on Blinks (Something like twitter/Snapchat/Instagram but a social app for an imaginary world 😊). He sets the phone down on the kitchen counter and starts to make breakfast.

“Outlaw - the cat is still at the vet but it will pull through. Hex - I do haircuts Tuesday and Thursday over near Heights of Evergreen Mall called Laser Precision Cuts.”

Kane throws in some sausage bits and left-over pepperoni from the pizza last night into his eggs. He opens up his fridge and pulls out some orange juice filling up a glass with it.

Kane goes back over in front of his camera phone and drinks his juice while reading through more messages.

“Golden – This isn’t really mine it’s my roommates but he lets me drink it. I just give them extra money at the end of each week because of the food I eat here. No, there isn’t any pulp in it.”

Kane takes a forkful of his eggs eating them and flips on the TV behind him.

“Bunny – I came up with the firefly’s song just for fun. When I rush into burning buildings, I always imagine the little embers as little fireflies running away from the fire. I’m coming up with something new soon but I don’t want to spoil the surprise.”

Kane eats another large portion of his eggs and takes a drink from his glass. He looks back down at his message then quickly looks behind him at the TV.

“The Viper Military is marching into Evergreen city. All citizens are asked to stay indoors at this time until this emergency is dealt with.” A reporter says on the News.

“Alright guys I need to go and deal with this. Keep turned in as I’ll live stream it for you all.”

Kane rushes to his bedroom fixes his hair and chooses a set of van shoes to wear “This will be perfect.” He then moves over to the balcony, opens the sliding glass door and flies off towards the center of the Viper attack.

Wow, these are great!  A short read, but fun.  Excellent job, John!

Thanks - Yeah I wanted to be more picture based in all my post. 

I'm sure these robots aren't exactly the way the ones we fought but close enough. 

I would like pictures of everyone's characters so I might be able to locate "action" poses for them to place inside Kane's social feed (if you happened to be in them).

I really enjoyed pulling together the comment stream

Belladonna is the easiest for you to use, as it's Daisy Johnson (aka Skye, aka Quake) on Marvel Agents of Shield.  There are tons of screen captures from the show.  Ah, the simplicity of using a well photographed star for your character's avatar! 😉

You found the pic fro Capt Davidson, so I'm sure it's some longstanding anime thing that can be found.  As for the rest, Chris still needs to find an avatar for Karelia, so this is a good opportunity to make it more simple. 😁

How fast can he learn a language and what is required to do it?  Just curious to determine a reasonable amount of time.  I think 3 CP is fluent (maybe even a native speaker).

So this is one of the scenes during our game session Sunday 11/03/19.

 

In the background of the picture is the bay area - if you look closely you can actually see the cargo containers and major freighter ships moving in and out of the intercoastal - just to the left of Captain Davidson.

Off to the left outside the picture range is the beach which is directly in front of the hotel (/condo?)

I wanted to do the picture at night but just couldn't find any good balcony pics during the night time to match Kane sleeping in a chair with a guitar.

Just adding this to Kane's storyline

Woke up Sunday morning and checked his phone (9am). No messages from the team. Eat breakfast then flew off to Italy to go shoe shopping while doing a live stream on his phone. "When looking for the right type of shoes the first thing you need to look at is the...."

Came back after 10pm flew to Belladonna's place. Some strange man was there leaving to apartment. This man clearly is attempting to dress nice but fails as his belt doesn't match his shoes. 

The team talks about some bald headed man but the team doesn't seem to be interested in it except the annoying angel who can't even draw a straight line. Maybe Luke should take some art classes. 

Corellia seems to be in a bad mood just because I'm looking up the Turbo Twins. I get to chat to one of them on Blink but this seems to stress her out way to much. I'll have to message them later when she isn't around.

The ridged woman who always seems to be so stiff, Davidson, has some information about a warehouse and gives out the address. I say I'll go right there and check it out. Belldonna, she's dressed half decent today not jumping out of her bedroom in just a night gown, she seems to have some decency today, says not go rush over there just yet. The team keeps talking about something, I pull up the address on my phone while they all talk. 

I figure this is where some bad guys are so I say "Lets just go there and bust in" Belldonna replies "no breaking in and no killing. We need to just recon." 

So Davidson runs off towards the building and vanishes. The other three say they are going in a car - how dull. I fly off into the sky and wait...and wait...and wait over the building - I eventually get bored and start taking picture of who is coming and going from the warehouse sending them over to Bellz - yeah her name is just to long and I'm getting tired of thinking of such a long name. Eventually Corellia and Bellz show up. They walk up to the front and I text Davidson without any response so I text Bellz saying I'm going to cover the back entrance. 

So I sit there waiting. I find a new message on my phone about a Paris fashion show happening right now (Frances evening time). I get a ticket for myself on my phone - damn this ticket is expensive, I need to find a job as my mom just isn't giving me enough money for all this. I hear some loud banging going on inside. I wonder what's going on? Maybe they got captured? I look through some windows and see nothing but darkness. I hear more banging. 

I look at my clock they probably are having everyone sit down in their seats at the show - I still have some time.

I slowly pull up a warehouse bay door and sneak inside. Bunch of crates. I bet whatever the team is looking for is inside one of these crates. I pop open the side of one and take a picture and send it off to Bellz. I then move over to another. She text me back 'take some more pictures' so I pop open the next one and send another picture. Just as this happens this ape like man who probably hasn't seen a bath in weeks as his hair is all stringy and his shirt is in need of ironing not even tucked in, points this gun - bigger than a handgun, at my face. He tells me to put my hands up. So I do and as I do this I snap a picture of him with the gun sending it off to Bellz. This is when this man realizes what he looks like and just goes ballistic and shoots me. Well if I looked like him and someone took a picture of me like that I might do the same so I feel a bit bad for him.

I swat the gun out of his hands then I hear the door being knocked down at the front. I check my phone, yeah this guy looks pretty bad I'll need to add a meme to his picture eventually. 

More guys come pouring out from above with the same type of gun. Really!? Now? I look at my clock I have about 2 mins left until the first set of cloths go walking down on display on the walkway.

I see a flash of light to my side and see a flap of wings. Must be the angel. 

I move over behind the crates putting it between me and the men above on the walkway. 

I see a flash of energy and one man drops with no head. Whoa someone is packing some heat on them.

The men retreat inside some room. I pick up the crates and slam them into the wall creating a new door. 

Hmmm, someone is trying to pull the crates out of my hand well if they want it so bad here it is and I push all the crates right at them.

Now the super costume that has absolutely no color, *ugh* this team needs so much help, person jumps in making some speech about drop your weapons or whatever. Then another energy beam hits that person she just talked to square in the chest, is that his heart I can see beating? Corillia should probably give them more time to drop their weapons before blasting them like that.

Seems all the others guys are dropping their weapons now. Bellz seems to have them under control plus I hear sirens in the background. I guess that's my queue to head on out.

*At the fashion show in Paris 30 mins later*

Kane's phone rings "Your team is shooting up the cops here" my response "I'm in Paris right now.....wait what!?"

"You can't get here in time, I need to call someone else" and she hangs up with her voice sounding frantic.

Does this mean I was hanging out with villains this whole time? Aren't police suppose to be the good guys? Look at that shirt, I must have it....

Greek News 8/26/19

Greek and Turkish F16 fighter jets engage in mock dog fights over Aegean Sea with United States Kane Maximus

The Turkish Air Force unleashed a barrage of violations of the Greek national airspace, as 12 Turkish F-16 fighter jets illegally committed 30 violations and 16 air traffic infringements of the Athens FIR.

All the Turkish F-16s were all armed and engaged in 6 dog fights over the Aegean Sea with intercepting Greek aircraft that were scrambled. During this time a super from the United States that goes by Kane Maximus also engaged the Turkish F-16.

Two more Turkish CN-235 spy planes flew over the Aegean Sea.

No casualties occurred during this incident unlike back in 2006 when a collisions occurred between Greek and Turkey fighter jets. The Turkey fighter pilot was rescued but the Greek pilot was never found presumed dead.

A carefully worded statement by the Greek joint chief of staff said the mock dogfighting occurred 21 nautical miles southeast of the Greek island of Karpathos after the Turkish aircraft, accompanied by two other warplanes, "breached flight regulations" by failing to inform aviation authorities of their flight plan through southern Greece.

All planes were armed but there was no exchange of fire.

Turkish military officials have offered no details as to why this breach occurred.

Greece insists its national airspace rights extend 10 miles from its coast. Turkey, however, recognizes only a six-mile zone and says it has a right to train in international airspace.

The dispute, among the thorniest in Greek-Turkish relations, has had warplanes from both sides engaging in a near daily drill of mock combat maneuvers over contested parts of the Aegean. Having the United States send over a meta to assist in protecting Greece’s boarders further entrenches the Greek national airspace rights.

Iron Maiden isn't likely to be seen soon unless we resume the Evergreen City campaign either with you as GM or if someone else takes over, or she moves to Gotham when/if that campaign starts up again.
