Good Morning Old Boys!

Please see emails below from Simon and Bro Charles which indicates that things are not moving at all.

For the Mzuzu Chapter, arrangements were made to visit the school and discuss with the school Management some elements that the Chapter wanted to fund. However fuel and other pressing engagements made our trip to be postponed. Am sure we will still travel to Chaminade soon.

In as far as contributions are concerned, would it not be an idea that the school should, on a weekly basis, circulate names and contributions made so far whether in cash or in kind?  Your views please!

Regards

Titus Mtegha

Thank you for the mail. Hope amd trust you are well.  You are right! Currently not much is happening! the sunday of 15th  april 2012 we are having main committee meeting at chaminade. We will have to slash so many events/items from the budget because the response from friends and others in terms of fund-raising has been poor, let me say.  so we are left with no option than to scale down our budget for the celebration to less than  500, 000 kwacha. I cannot say anything about these chapters  in mzuzu, LL or BTcoz i have little knowledge. We will try and circulate the resolutions of the forth coming meeting because we make drastic changes about the whole event, but we are optimistic the chaka will go on as planned.

thank you and God bless your generous heart.

Bro Charles Kimeu

Dear Colleagues

I have not seen much communication of late (may be I am cut off). How are the preparations going? Are the BT, LL and Mz chapters now working? I think we need to continue sharing ideas of what is being planned in the chapters so that we continue to learn from each other. It will also help if the school could be providing some bulletin on the preparations as well.

All the best (from Italy)

Dear Bro Kimeu

Sorry for not being in touch for some time.

The Mzuzu Chapter had a meeting on Sunday and are planning to visit Chaminade this coming weekend.

Once the logistics have been finalized you will be advised.

I am sure the other chapters too should have some updates to give.

Regards

The weekly updates will be welcome and encouraging! Bro Charles, do not give up on us that quickly. Many of us are reasonably busy on daily basis and would do with some consistent prodding.

The recruitment of other Old Boys to the forum should also continue – thus the copy of this e-mail to old Boy Radwel.

Radwel, you should now visit the grouping and subscribe in your own right. Tell other old boys as well. We are supposed to organise some meetings for Lilongwe based boys and I know this will happen soon.
