tannernelson26 I have helped to set up reporting (using a 3rd party add-on) for a few clients who have been using monday for tracking orders. I wrote a blog post on the topic: Tracking orders and shipments with
monday.com and Screenful - Screenful Blog
Welcome to
monday.com, a work OS where teams create and shape their own workflows in minutes, code-free. Our mission is to help teams outdo their best, fulfilling their potential, and collaborating more effectively.
The monday GraphQL API is part of the monday apps framework. It is an application layer to allow apps to read and update data inside a
monday.com account. It supports operations boards, items, column values, users, workspaces, and more.
Admins and members have access to their own API tokens. Guests cannot access an API key but can utilize API features through other authentication methods, like OAuth or a shortLivedToken.
The
monday.com API is built with GraphQL, a flexible query language that allows you to return as much or as little data as you need. GraphQL is an application layer that parses the query you send it and returns (or changes) data accordingly. To learn more about the fundamental GraphQL components, check out our GraphQL overview!
We've created a community specifically for our devs where you can search through previous topics to find solutions, ask new questions, hear about new features and updates, and learn tips and tricks from other devs. Come join in on the fun! ?
You can track any changes in the API by subscribing to the changelog RSS feed using your application of choice (Slack, Outlook, Chrome extension, etc.).
Looking for updates to the apps framework instead? Check out our apps framework changelog.

If you wanted to take notes there, you could use a file you hosted in Google Drive, Dropbox, or a similar platform to take notes directly in
monday.com. What do you think? You can access it by going to where you would add a new board view, in the upper lefthand corner of your board.
But yes, @Susan_Bolles, to answer your question, we do support files. You can either attach a file to an individual agenda or action item, or add a Files view to a meeting, so that you can have a group of files that are associated with a particular meeting.
We had the same thought initially, have you checked TypeForm or JotForm? Monday forms are very easy to use and free but limited. You can find some pretty powerful features in the above mentioned forms and they integrate with Monday via the integrations center.
I think 90% of users hate that feature. I love monday and implement it in my country to other clients. I think this is just a bad policy from the management. They want tu use our forms for greater exposure. Hopefully @Julia-monday.com senior management will realize that this is just wrong.
I suggested to Monday to remove branding about 6 months ago. I currently have 25 Pro users and going strong. The branding for Pro users is not tasteful and makes the form look like a free trial/freeware.
Monday.com Ltd. (styled in lowercase as
monday.com) is a cloud-based platform that allows users to create their own applications and project management software.[2][3] The product was launched in 2014 and in July 2019, the company raised $150 million, based on a $1.9 billion valuation.[4][5] The company went public in June 2021 and is based out of Tel Aviv, Israel.[6]
Monday.com was founded in 2012[7] by Roy Mann, Eran Kampf and Eran Zinman.[8] By August 2012, the company, then called Dapulse, raised $1.5 million in seed funding.[9][10][11] The product was commercially launched in 2014.[12][13] In June 2016, the company announced the closing of $7.6M in a Series A round.[14][11] The round was led by Genesis Partners, with participation from existing backer Entre Capital.[11]
The funding gave the company a valuation of $1.9B, making it a unicorn.[4] As of 2021, the company reported it was serving over 127,000 customers across over 200 business verticals.[18][19][20] In May 2020, the company won the 2020 Webby Award for Productivity in the category Apps, Mobile & Voice.[21][22] In May 2021, the company filed for a U.S. IPO.[23][24] The company went public on June 10, 2021.[25]
In June 2020,
monday.com released its API to third-party developers.
monday.com's open API allows users to build on the platform capabilities to fit their needs. Use cases include custom views, dashboard widgets, automations, and integrations with other work apps.[27]
Would love to have an offline version of Monday.com for those of us who spend a lot of times on the planes and in super remote places :). Ideally, the offline version would sync with the online version once the user is back online. Thank you! Love your work.
This would definitely be useful for my team as we travel all over the US and often find ourselves without internet (trains, planes). This is especially difficult for when we have meetings and need to record all minutes that require action. Currently, we make lists on excel and then batch copy to the corresponding board whenever we get some access. This causes a delay between the time when we have the meeting and when our team members not present get the notification that action is required.
More complex usability in offline mode would be the cherry on top, but this basic use is really impacting our team.
Aside from this, we are loving Monday!!! We even fully migrated to it to get past some of the awkward yoga poses our previous software was forcing us into
It would be awesome to have this feature!
all my friends is crazy about Monday when see how I use it and how it helps me. But you right. Planes, trains, travel thoughts push me to use notepad or other soft to fix my thougts on paper and then (when the Internet connection appear), manage it in Monday
This would be great for me too, i sell headstones for a living and spend a lot of time in churches and cemeteries, neither of which are always within reach of internet, i often need to get onto
monday.com to see the customer info and find myself unable to.
Please implement this feature. I have 4-6 flights a month and I find that a flight without any access to wifi is the best time to review tasks, clean up my backlog and plan future tasks. It would be super helpful to be able to use Monday on flights.
Hi Monday. What is the update on this feature? Our sales team travels a and right now we cant use monday on flights or offsite. You say no demand but surely we are not the only people traveling and working!
Is there anyway to create a central calendar view that pulls from different boards that is just the calendar? I have people in my organization that need to see just a central calendar, but apparently I have to subscribe them to all the boards that is feeding that dashboard? That is so not feasible! Anyone run across this issue?
What is your logic behind adding them to this dashboard? Is that necessary? Do these users work in
monday.com usually or do they just need to check in on this calendar view once in a while? Do they conduct any other activities in
monday.com at all?
There are definitely challenges in all of this. As a
monday.com consultant, these types of issues are bread and butter to me, but I can really see the pain of new users (particularly those who are used to Excel and expect
monday.com to behave in the same way).
Hi again,
Raising this topic from the grave
I am now arravied at the point that i need to migrate a workspace to another account.
I would like to include all the content, boards, files, updates etc.
How does that work with members, do they need to be created first in order to connect all updates and tasks to the right person again? Or should i export these as well? (not all members in my environment should be migrated)
Main boards will transfer over. All automation recipes that are turned on will duplicate over to the new account. Crossboard automations will only work if the source and recipient board(s) that are duplicated are in the same folder. Info boxes and the activity log will not transfer over. Let me know if this helps!
Can you please send us the domains of the 2 accounts to
sup...@monday.com and explain you want to test the new feature for moving boards between accounts. Someone will be able to set this up for you and give you further instructions
It would be nice to have Monday.com integrate search & replace functionality directly into the application. I have viewed the search tutorials and features in the application. I would like to perform a search and replace function and cannot find how to do this within the application vs a 3rd party application since I feel that this is basic functionality. For example, I would like to search for a string of text on a board and replace the text with something different. I frequently duplicate boards for different projects and want to simply change some repetitive text. I contacted Monday.com support who advised that this feature is not available. " While we do not support that functionality at this time, our product team is eager for this kind of feedback to include in their discussions for future improvement. These product ideas and feedback can be submitted directly to our Monday.com community" Please upvote if you feel the need for this feature.
Hey folks! Nikola here, from Spicytab! We recently launched our Find and Replace app, that has options to find and replace particular value, as well as use
monday.com filters to filter the items down and update them et-mass.
