Hey Mr. Mac I was just reminding you that I am avaliable on Wednesday for the Challenge Day.

I have a question regarding the schedule for Challenge Day. The information
that came in the mail says that challenge day will run from 7:30am-3:30pm.
The facilitator information on the challenge day web site asks that
facilitators come 30-40 minutes early and stay after challenge day. Are we
then being asked to be there by at least 7am? What time do you anticipate

Hi Odalis,

This is Terrie Woodward from school.  We are so happy that you will be able to help us on Challenge Day.  I guess the info was a little misleading.  We are asking that the facilitators be here at school by 7:30 a.m.  We will then meet in the library to meet with the Challenge Day organizers.  The day will be over by 3:30.  Feel free to contact me if you have any other questions.

No...we start at 8:00 seating students.  Facilitators begin in the morning with a pre-meeting in the library at 7:30.  The meeting prepares adults to be leaders in a small pod called a family.  Once the challenge day has concluded, a short time to meet with facilitators is necessary to gather important mandatory reporting information if needed.  Challenge day will conclude at 3:10 officially, but facilitators need about 20 to 30 minutes so 3:30 to 3:40.

Thank you for your support of our school and programs. Your service
is greatly appreciated. I am confident that at the conclusion of
Challenge Day, you will see the importance of changing the culture of
our school to break down the isolation that students feel...to let
each student know that they are not alone. Challenge Day is not a
solution to all of the problems that teenages face, but it is a
start.

I want you to know that I have an opportunity to attend a symposium
hosted and funded by Promethius Corporation focusing on new
technologies to improve student learning. I will be leaving for
London, England tomorrow and back on Wednesday. I hope to return with
a greater understanding of new strategies to teach students, and maybe
some new technolgy.

We meet at 7:30 in the library, program begins at 8.
End time of 3:30 actually will include a bit of debrief time- you
should be totally done by 3:30.
