Hey everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend! I am posting some
potential interview questions to ask of the administration for both
private and public schools. Don't forget everyone is supposed to
submit at least five questions by Tuesday's class. (We also need
interview questions to ask teachers - remember, there will be four
interviews total: two principals (private and public) and two
teachers (private and public).

Interview Questions:

1. How do you communicate your dress code to parents and students?
2. How do you communicate school closings due to inclement weather
conditions? (Via television, phone calls, etc. I believe this
differs for private and public schools.)
3. How do you contact and inform parents of disciplinary issues
regarding their children?
4. In what ways do you inform parents of PTA or other parent/teacher
organization meetings and events?
5. How do you inform parents of social events, i.e. fairs,
fundraisers, bake sales, school/classroom holiday parties, etc.?
6. In what ways do you communicate school and teacher policies and
procedures to your faculty?
7. What are some problems you have encountered in the past in regards
to communication misunderstandings/breakdowns between the
administration and faculty, and did you manage to overcome those
issues? If so, how?
