Details - apprently after Kernel 4.10 arrive it breaks the button and axis mappings (..and Rumble) for the ps4 controller ....sigh ..See this discussion https://www.reddit.com/r/linux_gaming/comments/5ypc77/latest_updates_on_archlinux_ds4_controller_is/desg6l6/, SDL2 has a patch fixing the issue in its development branch
