Points for Action from Today's meeting

Dear All,

 

Today, meeting happened in our layout. Our Developer did not attend our meeting as he could not return back from Tirupathi.
People could find time to attend our meeting while the last date for filing tax return is nearing.  Thanks to the plot owners who had come for the meeting.

In meeting, many points were discussed. From the outcome, we selected first 5 possible important points to implement.

Just a way back, only vinay, kishan and myself were meeting each other and we called that as association meeting :-). Now, We grow as association, in terms of strength (No.of people). I am sure; we will be having the complete strength, eventually. Now-a-days, many people keep coming to our layout, not only for meeting, as and when they get time! They were joining us in meeting or contact over phone/mail and want to provide active participation for our association.

Having this in mind:

1. We, in meeting, decided to conduct an election for the positions in our association.
i)   Existing people can propose their willingness to continue their service
ii)  Association members can propose the nominees
iii) Self nominations are also allowed.
Shall we keep; The last date for the proposal is 15th August 2014. If there is no new proposal for the last date within a week, this date will be considered as the last date.

2. Transformer for Phase II is very much needy now as a construction is going on in phase-II. It will be over by next month. Tousif will do follow-up in this regards. In case of suspension till the next meeting, on next meeting everybody should go to developers-office to insist this.

3. As we have received complete contact-list of phase 2, task force needs to be reworked to do follow-ups for collecting maintenance charges.

4. We need to bring all layout members under one online-group.

5. Due chart (Pending amount details) can be sent in the form of Excelsheet instead of image, from now on.

Last week during our meeting when we called Venkatesh Reddy and he said he would put transformer in a weeks time.Since yesterday I have tried calling Ambreesh Reddy but he is not picking up call.Can the the chairman of this association please check with the developers about the status of this ? Also please share the contact number of Venkatesh reddy on group so that all phase-2 people can call and have a check. The contact number of Ambreesh Reddy is 9845166448 and the contractor who is suppose to install the transformer is Suresh Reddy and his number is 9035690962.They keep saying we will do in 15 days, 1 week etc but so far no result ,if more people of association call them up and check the status I hope things would get resolved faster.

How many positions do we have ? As we have two people with name Balaji, whom are you referring to ?. I would like to exclude myself from this process however I would like to add Pampapathi and Mahesh's name to the nominations list(which already has 3 names) if they would be interested..

2 people frm ph 1 (1 of the 2 balaji's & radhakrishnan)
2 people frm ph 2 (it cud b mahesh/tousif) and 1 lady representative frm ph 2. This way we can hv representative frm all the areas.

Regarding elections, I do not want to be among the nominees as I cannot give enough time at this stage, for layout so do not consider me.

From my perception:

 

Nominees are:

President - Vasanth

Treasurer - Balaji Baskaran.

Secretary - Tousif

Event Co-ordinator - Madhu

Motivators - Balaji and Pampapathi

Supporters - Mahesh and Rathakrishnan.

Proposal for responsibilities:

President - NOC certificate, Sanction for new plan/Activities
Treasurer - Responsible for cash-in flow, follow-up strategy
Secretary - Responsible for Cash-out flow, Bill payment, and other expenses.
Event Co-ordinator - Meeting, Gathering, Agenda, MOM.
Motivator - wherever attention required there they can jump in(full freedom to decide the scope), action starts after nod from President. - (true leaders like lion)

Supporters - Anybody can pull them to complete the task in time. - (true hard-workers like bullock)

Radhakrishnan,

Due to personal reason, I'll not be able to take any roles in the association for now. I will be a active member and a motivator/supporter for sure and will contribute in whatever way possible without taking up any such official roles. Typically the following positions are there in any association.

President

Vice President

General Secretary

Treasurer

I suggest that either you or Balaji (1st occupant) be the president of the association; Tousif/Mahesh can be Vice President; Madhu can be General Secretary & Balaji Bhaskaran can be Treasurer. I still suggest we have a woman representative from phase 2 sites if possible.

Also, for tomorrow meeting with Developer I'll not be able to join, as I need to join my kids for the Independence day celebration. If you are meeting him, please discuss with him about the transformer, sewage line, garbage dumping, borewell for 2nd phase, temple construction, vacating Narayana Gowda from the layout etc.

About garbage dumping you can mention about the discussion I had with Prakash who is dumping the garbage. Also, talk about the Rs 14 lacs which they had promised to him. Lets hear what they say about it.

Narayana gowda is the person who was in charge of the layout earlier & was providing security services to the layout & others.  But currently he's the sheds in our layout to house his security guards.  Lot of people enter layout saying they know this guy & sometime misbehave with our kids also & during weekends they hv drinking parties in these sheds.

I am ok to take up a position in the association. No issues there. Last week we were supposed to show up in BDA complex for meeting the owner. Only handful of us showed up there. The purpose was also not fulfilled. Venkatesh/Ambarish Reddy were not available in office and Tousif spoke only on phone to him.

 

I guess we need to show some unity and show up frequently for these meetings.

 

Tousif - Any update on the Electricity for Phase 2 issue. Did you guys talk to Mahesh and figure out what can be done? Pls let us know.

 

Note: Once the new committee is to be formed, we should put in some rules and regulations as well

Hi Balaji,

I have been calling up Venkatesh Reddy and Ambarish reddy since Saturday but they did not pickup phone.I visited their office on Saturday but they were not there.After talking to Mahesh based on his conversation with BESCOM engineer the suggestion given is to apply for permanent connection.

When we apply for permanent connection the Bescom guys will see that the transformer is missing and will issue Notice to Chaitra Developers asking for installing the same.In that way there would be some pressure for him to act quickly.Also looks like he has not paid any deposits required for phase-2 layout.

So we all need to try calling him as ask why he is delaying things and let him either pay us money so that we can pay the same to BESCOM and get the transformer or let him install it by this week end max.We should also tell him that Bescom people said they will issue notice if things are getting delayed.
