Hello All, 

Garbage dump is going at fast phase and it will at least take couple of years to clear if they stop garbage as of today. I am not sure if any one (tried) calling or getting this issue with land developer. We have to work as group to get it resolved as we are the most effected because of this. Attached is the picture of current dump status.

Hi All,

Just to bring it to everyone's attention, there was a foul smell
caused because of the garbage dump, the whole of the weekend. We were

Dear residents of Chaitra Shelters,

I don't think the so called association office bearers are going to do anything on this as they are least bothered or least impacted by the problem which we residents or future residents (those who are in the process of constructing their homes) are facing.  We hv been sending mails & shouting at the top of our voice & none of those office bearers didn't even hv the courtesy to show some sympathy towards our problem so far by at least responding to our mails.  This shows their apathy towards the problem we are facing or the lack of sensitivity to the issue. The least they should do is say that they can't take any of these responsibilities & resign from their positions so that the people who are residing here can take the necessary action.

Coming back to the garage problem I've spoken to the rowdy sheeter who is dumping the garbage here 3 times and hv pleaded with him to stop it, but he is in no mood to relent. I've spoken to venkatesh reddy the developer multiple times & every time he says the association should file a police complaint & hv told this to radhakrishna so that we can get the letter head of the association to file the complaint.  But that has gone no where as one of the estimeed member has the letter head which none of us hv access to.

Today again I spoke to the developer & he asked us to type in a complaint in a plain paper ateast & get signature of atleast 20 site owners which he will submit to police commissioner, bbmp commissioner,  MLC & MLA. He will file the compaint on his behalf only & we just hv to sign as impacted owners. The least we should do now is to get this done through we residents effort & give it to Mr Reddy who has promised that he'll take it forward. Hope we can atleast complete this task as residents of this layout by this week itself.

I spoke to following two BBMP officials & explained my concern about grabage dumping, They are well aware of issue & they have filed a police FIR also.

To put more pressure, everybody should call above officers & explain your concern.

It is required for all of us to sign the complaint. That would be helpful. I know we are in the e-world. But our Bangalore Government is still not ready for e-signatures or email with consent.

 

I and Vasanth shall have the letter prepared. Once done, we shall inform this group. I am sure all of your guys will co-operate to come and sign.

 

People are suggesting to call for a meeting. I know it is nice to say that. I would like to bring it to your notice that, only the people who are in the layout show up for the meeting. Not more than 5 or more people have consecutively showed up for 2 meetings also. It shows the amount of interest that people are showing to the plots they have purchased. It is not like we don't have any other work and we show up for the meeting. We also spend our personal time here.

 

As we all know, Association is also not fully functioning. We need to elect new board members and make it fully functional. A lot of people also have not paid the dues. People who are currently residing in the layout have spent money from their pocket for the expenses of the layout. There has been no measure that has been taken to repay them as well.

 

Nearby, there are a lot of empty land and people are dumping the waste all over around. Only if there are funds, we can talk to the health inspector to install garbage cans inside the layout, so that they will come weekly/bi-weekly to come and collect them, so that we can maintain the layout clean.

 

Coming to the security. there is no security for the past 6 months or so. We stopped having one, when there was no funds to pay the security person. Now anybody comes inside the layout and starts loitering. Trespassing is heavy and this would be a problem later. Only if we have a proper security, we can track who is coming and going out.

 

I can keep writing long emails. There are more issues that can be listed here. But there is no use if no one reacts to these issues.

 

OFFICE BEARERS - Can we have a meeting to discuss these issues? Will you guys show up? If not, pls hand over the responsibility to others who want to, so that they can atleast do the needful.

I was just counting how many people responded to this thread I wish there was similar participation and regular meetings.I have run pillar to post endlessly calling to our developers Venkatesh Reddy and Ambreesh Reddy and more than 50 times visiting their office for getting a transformer for phase-2.This transformer if put would provide electricity to phase-2 and street lights which are absent in phase-2.But every time the developer just dodged the question saying we will do soon and that soon is more than 8 months now.He does not even pick  up my calls, this is not a problem particular to me but for entire phase-2.Could we all have gone to his house or office and said we won't leave till you give written declaration or complained to BESCOM we would have got electricity for phase-2.But looks like those who are affected are the only ones suffering and struggling others are simple not interested untill they face the same situation.We as an association are not able to get something which is a must and promised by our own developer then I don't know the reason of existence of this association.I am writing that we deep regret as I know my house is close to completion but there is no electricity to move in.

In spite of multiple requests from Vasanth and Balaji for getting atleast 20 site owners Signatures only 15 have turned up until now including resident of layout. Looks like no one is getting inspired by "Swachh Bharat" also. 

Once again requesting all please spare sometime this Saturday so that you can sign the petition and also we can go to builder (with more people) so that we can also raise pending works like Transformer etc with builder.
