Hi all,

Before I go file a Github issue, I wanted a sanity check: When looking at the results for the API tests at http://chaijs.com/api/test/, I'm seeing15  of the same failures  across a number of browsers, with errors like:

TypeError: Cannot read property 'exec' of undefined
    at Proxy.assertMatch (https://cdn.rawgit.com/chaijs/chai/4.0.0-canary.2/chai.js:2331:11)
    at Proxy.methodWrapper (https://cdn.rawgit.com/chaijs/chai/4.0.0-canary.2/chai.js:7387:25)
    at err (:119:37)
    at Context.<anonymous> (https://cdn.rawgit.com/chaijs/chai/4.0.0-canary.2/test/assert.js:179:5)

This is consistent on:

- Microsoft Edge, Windows 10
- Firefox 50, Ubuntu 14.04
- Firefox 52, macOS 10.12.3
- Chrome 57, macOS 10.12.3
- Safari 10, macOS 10.12.3

Did I miss an already reported issue? Searching for 'TypeError' shows issues like https://github.com/chaijs/chai/issues/855, but I'm not seeing this being described.

Anyway, let me know if anyone else sees this, or if I'm in some sort of unit test twilight zone.
