Hi Everyone,
I am writing this email to request any drawings/sketches/videos/other materials that any of you may have for the various rice huller designs that we had thought of. Basically, the spring break trip to Panama is rapidly approaching (there's exactly one week left). As of now, I have been working on a "spinning blade" design using circular saw blades which SEEMED to work from a rough mockup that I built. The materials have been ordered to try to build a larger and more functional prototype to take down to Panama. However...this is only one design with functionality that is still highly questionable. Even though a number of the other design mock-ups that we tried building in the shop did not work as such, it would be very helpful if we can take multiple design ideas to the communities in Panama. This will us to get input from the community residents about not only the physical prototype which we will take down, but input regarding the design and functionality of the other designs that we considered. Perhaps they will have some insights and/or opinions about what they would like to see/which designs might work etc etc.
I know that everyone is really busy with finals week but if you have any of the sketches/drawings that you had done earlier in the quarter, please allow me to get them before you leave from spring break so that we can take them to Panama with us. I can come pick it up from you, or meet you wherever it is convenient etc. My number is
(908) 229 8263
Thanks for helping make the most out of this trip!
Sincerely,
