Just wanted to give you a quick update on the plan for our trip this spring break.
Our team consists of 5 people: Adam, Maria, Sheng, Vivek and myself. We will be going to two communities: Santo Domingo and Santa Librada over the next five days. In Santo Domingo we will be testing two of the design mockups - the spinning blade design that Vivek was working on and the two spinning roller design that Kate and Joe worked on. In addition, we will be showing a few of the drawings we've worked on over this past quarter.
In Santa Librada, we are aiming to install PV systems in homes providing electricity for five families for the first time (special thanks to Alan for helping get all the supplies ordered).
I've attached an abridged copy of our trip packet in case you are interested in reading more about the type of work we'll be doing on this trip. Definitely keep an eye out for more emails towards the end of this week with pictures and stories from our trip!
