Tatami

Hi

I'm looking for tatami. Is there a shop in Europe that sells tatami in the proper kyoto size (95.5x191) or do you know of a reliable store in Japan that can ship tatami (and communicate in English).

You might also want to check http://tatamit.fi/en/home.html for kyoma-tatamis. This shop is in Finland, but as far as I know they deliver to other European countries as well. The shopkeeper is very familiar with chado and you can get proper ones (even ro-cut and special sizes too) for this purpose. I bought mine a few years ago and feels a good quality (and reasonable price).

Thank you for sharing this!!! They look like great people. Seems like they can provide much more than just the tatami and fusuma. I have written to them to get some prices. I hope I can afford their stuff.
