So I was able to clarify with Rav Neuberger today and according to Rav
Neuberger if one wants to be machmir to not sell chometz gamur they
can be mekil with regard to having to get rid of uncooked noodles
since its not rui l'achilah!!!

Sorry i was not able to make it to the chaburah i had other
conflicting obligations. However I felt that I should try and still
have in mind the chabura so therefore I went to hear Rav Schacter
shlita (Eli Portnoy and Rav Schachter, what a night!!!!) about inyanei
pesach tonight in yu. He had many interesting ha'aros. One thing he
said was that we try to have green karpos. Also he said the ikar maror
is lettuce and not what many assume to be the horseradish. Also he is
very mikal with how much a kezayis is for achilas matzah. He quoted
Rav Chaim Volozhin who said it was basically the palm of your hand and
not the huge amounts we have printed in many books! He said that ones
wife should say She'hechiyanu during Kiddush and not at candle time.
One should try their best not to eat 2.5 hours before shkiyah on erev
pesach in order to eat b'teiavon. Cup should be held a tefach off the
table for all the 4 cups. A tefech according to Rav Moshe is 3.6
inches. He said the opinion of the Sh'lah of not talking from Achilas
Matzah until after Afikoman is not m'kabel. However, the minhag of not
talking from achilas matzah until after Koreach should be and there is
a question as to whether or not to say the Zecher L'mikdash before
Koreach b/c it could be a Hefsik, if it is so one should say it after
the Koreach! L'chatchila one should drink the whole cup of wine
according to the Bach.
-Hotzah is assur on Yom Tov unless there is a tzorech Yom Tov
-He broke down clothing in levels: 1) Yom Tov 2) Shabbos 3) Chol
Hamoed 4) Regular
If one only has Shabbos/Yom Tov clothing and weekday clothing then
they should wear the Shabbos/Yom Tov clothing on Chol Hamoed.

-THIS WAS NOT ALL OF IT- Please do not paskin based on what I wrote
here.

Tzvi:
Rav Schachter seemed to say that if a person only has two types
of clothing Shabbos/Yom Tov and everyday than he should be wearing
Shabbos/Yom Tov on Chol Hamoed. Then again if a person has Yom Tov,
Shabbos, Chol Hamoed, regular than ok. Basically, Chol Hamoed is
better the 3rd level of clothing. Yom Tov being #1, then Shabbos, then
Chol Hamoed, then regular, so if someone doesnt have special chol
hamoed clothes they should be wearing shabbos/yom tov clothes. That
was my understanding. He got intense about how Americans(as opposed to
Israelis) do not keep Chol Hamoed k'dina and treat it like a normal
day.

Rav Schachter's Shittah on horseradish is that you can't even eat it
with the Romain lettuce (which is the way we do it in my house). This
is because we hold that if a Mitzvah is combined with a Reshus (the
Romain lettuce being the mitzvah and the horseradish being a Reshus b/
c its not real Marror), then the Reshus is Mevatel the Mitzvah.

What I did last year was eat a Kazayis of Romain lettuce alone (which
everyone agrees is Marror) and then had some horseradish to be
"Yotzei" eating horseradish... (My parents thought I was crazy.) Now,
I'm not sure if that's the best idea because if you hold the
horseradish is a Reshus, then it might be a Hefsek between Marror and
Koreich. I'll have to ask Rav Schachter...

Avi-

Interesting idea by clothing, i heard that some poskim say there is a
fifth and highest level of clothing, that being a chasuna, not just
for tha chasan but even for guests. I know of some rebbeim who when
the buy a new suit their old suits become Yom Tov, shabbos, and their
new suits they wear to chasunas.

Joe,

Schluss is right, mamy of the things said by the rabbi was said in
shiur that day and the day before....When he was discussing the levels
of clothing, he also actually said that suits worn to chassunahs are
the highest.

So you're right as well

Also, with regard to the minhag of the Shlah HaKadosh quoted above, RS
stated in the name of Rav Soloveichik that Reb Chaim was noheg like
this Shlah and didn't speak until he eat the afikomen in order not to
be mafsik

I asked Rav Schachter today and he verified everything I said before.
When I asked him about the Hefsek, he told me that it would be a
Hefsek. But he didn't seem as forceful about it as he did last year,
it was the classic "I'm-not-going-to-force-my-opinions-on-anyone"
tone. And then he said something like, "And your parents want to eat
horseradish b/c that's what their parents ate. OK."
