When: Thursday, December 2, 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Where: Burkle 16

Take a break from studying for finals and join the CGU Finance Club
for the last meeting of the semester. The investment competition ends
tomorrow, December 1, and prizes for the top 3 competitors will be
given out during the meeting. If you are in the top 3 after tomorrow,
please respond to this e-mail so we know who to make the Amazon gift
cards out to. We will also be hearing briefly from the Finance Club
leadership team that will take over next semester to hear their plans
for the club.

Our guest speaker for this meeting will be Joe Lumarda, Senior Vice
President at Capital Group. Mr. Lumarda earned his EMBA at the
Drucker School in 2000. Please come prepared with questions. A brief
bio of Mr. Lumarda follows:

Joseph Lumarda is a senior vice president and investment counselor for
Capital Guardian Trust Company’s Personal Investment Management
division and a vice president of Capital Guardian Trust Company, a
Nevada Corporation. Prior to joining Capital, Mr. Lumarda spent 16

vice president for development and executive vice president and chief
operating officer. During that time, he also served as an independent
director for Capital Research and Management Company’s Endowment
funds, a series of investment portfolios designed exclusively for
nonprofit organizations. Before that, he spent three years active duty
and five years in the reserves with the U.S. Navy as a lieutenant and
naval flight officer on the P3 Orion anti-submarine warfare aircraft.
Mr. Lumarda earned a BA in philosophy from Saint John’s Seminary
